And thou shalt make curtains of goats’hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains shalt thou make them. 26.12. And as for the overhanging part that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth over shall hang over the back of the tabernacle. 27.20. And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually. 27.21. In the tent of meeting, without the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall set it in order, to burn from evening to morning before the LORD; it shall be a statute for ever throughout their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel. 29.1. And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto Me in the priest’s office: take one young bullock and two rams without blemish, 29.4. And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tent of meeting, and shalt wash them with water. 29.7. Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him. 29.10. And thou shalt bring the bullock before the tent of meeting; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock. 29.15. Thou shalt also take the one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram. 29.16. And thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take its blood, and dash it round about against the altar. 29.18. And thou shalt make the whole ram smoke upon the altar; it is a burnt-offering unto the LORD; it is a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 29.19. And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram. 29.31. And thou shalt take the ram of consecration, and seethe its flesh in a holy place. 34.24. For I will cast out nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders; neither shall any man covet thy land, when thou goest up to appear before the LORD thy God three times in the year. 40.1. And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying: 40.2. ’On the first day of the first month shalt thou rear up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 40.3. And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and thou shalt screen the ark with the veil. 40.4. And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the bread that is upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof. 40.5. And thou shalt set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle. 40.6. And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 40.7. And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put water therein. 40.8. And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court. 40.9. And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the furniture thereof; and it shall be holy. 40.10. And thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar; and the altar shall be most holy. 40.11. And thou shalt anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it. 40.12. And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tent of meeting, and shalt wash them with water. 40.13. And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments; and thou shalt anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister unto Me in the priest’s office. 40.14. And thou shalt bring his sons, and put tunics upon them. 40.15. And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto Me in the priest’s office; and their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.’ 40.16. Thus did Moses; according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he. 40.17. And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up. 40.20. And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the ark-cover above upon the ark. 40.21. And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses. 40.24. And he put the candlestick in the tent of meeting, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward. 40.25. And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses. 40.29. And the altar of burnt-offering he set at the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it the burnt-offering and the meal-offering; as the LORD commanded Moses. 40.30. And he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water therein, wherewith to wash; 40.31. that Moses and Aaron and his sons might wash their hands and their feet thereat; 40.33. And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work. 40.34. Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 40.35. And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of meeting, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.— 40.36. And whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys. 40.37. But if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. 40.38. For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and there was fire therein by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.— |

And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and came out, and blessed the people; and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people. 9.24. And there came forth fire from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt-offering and the fat; and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces. 8. And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them.,And he took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thigh.,And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the laver and its base, to sanctify them.,And the bullock of the sin-offering was brought; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock of the sin-offering.,As hath been done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make atonement for you.,And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.,And the other ram was presented, the ram of consecration, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.,And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses made it smoke upon the altar.,And when the ram was cut into its pieces, Moses made the head, and the pieces, and the suet smoke.,And when it was slain, Moses took of the blood thereof, and put it upon the tip of Aaron’s right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.,And Aaron and his sons did all the things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.,And ye shall not go out from the door of the tent of meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration be fulfilled; for He shall consecrate you seven days.,And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire.,And when it was slain, Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the remaining blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it.,And at the door of the tent of meeting shall ye abide day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not; for so I am commanded.,And he put upon him the tunic, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the skilfully woven band of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.,’Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bullock of the sin-offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread;,And Moses brought Aaron’s sons, and clothed them with tunics, and girded them with girdles, and bound head-tires upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses.,And when the inwards and the legs were washed with water, Moses made the whole ram smoke upon the altar; it was a burnt-offering for a sweet savour; it was an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.,And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons: ‘Boil the flesh at the door of the tent of meeting; and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying: Aaron and his sons shall eat it.,and assemble thou all the congregation at the door of the tent of meeting.’,And Aaron’s sons were brought, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot; and Moses dashed the blood against the altar round about.,But the bullock, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, were burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.,And he put the whole upon the hands of Aaron, and upon the hands of his sons, and waved them for a wave-offering before the LORD.,And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave-offering before the LORD; it was Moses’portion of the ram of consecration; as the LORD commanded Moses.,And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the tent of meeting.,And Moses took them from off their hands, and made them smoke on the altar upon the burnt-offering; they were a consecration-offering for a sweet savour; it was an offering made by fire unto the LORD.,And Moses said unto the congregation: ‘This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded to be done.’,And the ram of the burnt-offering was presented; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.,And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:,And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.,And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat, and upon the right thigh.,And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons’garments with him, and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’garments with him.,And when it was killed, Moses dashed the blood against the altar round about.,And he set the mitre upon his head; and upon the mitre, in front, did he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.,And he placed the breastplate upon him; and in the breastplate he put the Urim and the Thummim. |

So it was alway: the cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night. 9.18. At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they encamped: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they remained encamped. 9.20.
