Anon., 1 Enoch, 99.11-99.16

nanWoe to you who spread evil to your neighbours; For you shall be slain in Sheol.

nanWoe to you who make deceitful and false measures, And (to them) who cause bitterness on the earth; For they shall thereby be utterly consumed.

nanWoe to you who build your houses through the grievous toil of others, And all their building materials are the bricks and stones of sin; I tell you ye shall have no peace.

nanWoe to them who reject the measure and eternal heritage of their fathers And whose souls follow after idols; For they shall have no rest.

nanWoe to them who work unrighteousness and help oppression, And slay their neighbours until the day of the great judgement.

nanFor He shall cast down your glory, And bring affliction on your hearts, And shall arouse His fierce indignation And destroy you all with the sword; And all the holy and righteous shall remember your sins.

And if he be shameless and persist in his wrong-doing, even so forgive him from the heart, and leave to God the avenging.

36. New Testament, Romans, 2.6, 8.13, 12.17, 12.19 (1st cent. CE - 1st cent. CE)

2.6. who "will pay back to everyone according to their works: 8.13. For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 12.17. Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. 12.19. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.
37. New Testament, Luke, 3.14, 6.20-6.26, 10.13, 11.42-11.44, 11.46-11.47, 21.23, 22.22 (1st cent. CE - 1st cent. CE)

3.14. Soldiers also asked him, saying, "What about us? What must we do?"He said to them, "Extort from no one by violence, neither accuse anyone wrongfully. Be content with your wages. 6.20. He lifted up his eyes to his disciples, and said, "Blessed are you poor, For yours is the Kingdom of God. 6.21. Blessed are you who hunger now, For you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, For you will laugh. 6.22. Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from them and reproach you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man's sake. 6.23. Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven, for their fathers did the same thing to the prophets. 6.24. But woe to you who are rich! For you have received your consolation. 6.25. Woe to you, you who are full now! For you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now! For you will mourn and weep. 6.26. Woe, when men speak well of you! For their fathers did the same thing to the false prophets. 10.13. Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 11.42. But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, but you bypass justice and the love of God. You ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone. 11.43. Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seats in the synagogues, and the greetings in the marketplaces. 11.44. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like hidden graves, and the men who walk over them don't know it. 11.46. He said, "Woe to you lawyers also! For you load men with burdens that are difficult to carry, and you yourselves won't even lift one finger to help carry those burdens. 11.47. Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. 21.23. Woe to those who are pregt and to those who nurse infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people. 22.22. The Son of Man indeed goes, as it has been determined, but woe to that man through whom he is betrayed!
38. New Testament, Mark, 13.17 (1st cent. CE - 1st cent. CE)

13.17. But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babies in those days!
39. New Testament, Matthew, 23.13, 24.19 (1st cent. CE - 1st cent. CE)

23.13. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows' houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation. 24.19. But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!
